Undoubtedly if you need to get warm you can either turn on oil or gas heating, an electric heater or use a traditional fire or a stove Why would you use a stove?. A stove has the versatility of a fire without the mess. You still need to clear it out but it keeps all the ashes in the tray. So you just tip it into a bucket and it’s ready to be fired up gain.
Stoves are very trendy and will look the part in any style of home. You can get insert stoves that will look trendy in modern apartments or hi tech homes, and cast iron and bronze stoves for the more traditional home. Complete the look with a glass door, or double doors and who can ask for more? Style and warmth and low maintenance. I’ll take that any day.
